Concrete Contractor BTH Relies On Wacker Neuson Trowels

Efficiency and cost-effectiveness are vital factors for the German contractor BTH (Boden-Technik-Hehl). Precision work according to a specific time plan is absolutely essential on concrete job sites, since the concrete has to be processed as quickly as possible. BTH uses up to six Wacker Neuson ride-on trowels for a major project in Mühldorf, Upper Bavaria. Approximately 80,000 m² of flooring for a production and assembly hall need to be troweled.

A professional partner is essential to trowel a 400 x 200 meter area. BTH is renowned for that in the market. "Our philosophy is: Only a happy customer is a good customer. Therefore we pay particular attention to precision and quality. These can only be achieved with the right kind machinery and the right kind of technology. I am convinced that Wacker Neuson's ride-on trowels CRT 36 and CRT 48 are the best machines for troweling concrete surfaces. Their first-class steering system ensures precise control of the trowel so that we achieve optimal results", reports Franz Hehl, owner of BTH. "The joystick control enables accurate steering and minimizes fatigue. The seat and armrests are ergonomically designed so that the operator can use the machine comfortably. That is especially important for jobs that go on for a long time, because productivity goes up when fatigue is reduced", confirmes Wolfgang Stengel, Wacker Neuson sales executive in the Bad Aibling region.

Optimal maneuverability and a high surface capacity coupled with a well-balanced power/weight ratio guarantee first-rate concrete surfaces. Thanks to front and rear lights as standard, the CRT 48 ensures good visibility, especially on night operations. The transport sleeves, which enable transporting the machine directly with forklift tynes, are another advantage of Wacker Neuson's trowels. That saves the customer a lot of time and makes the machines very flexible. Especially when it comes to setting it down on fresh concrete, this transport option really pays off, because it prevents damage to the laid concrete. BTH employs a laser screed SXP, which produces the perfect basis for the application of Wacker Neuson trowels, in order to achieve a higher degree of accuracy of flatness, according to DIN 18202 Table 3, Line 4 up to half the value of Line 4.

BTH (Boden-Technik-Hehl) works mainly in Southern Germany. However, the company has also established itself internationally, and created BTH International GmbH for these operations. BTH employs a total of 35 concrete professionals. The team works on concrete surfaces amounting to 1,000,000 m² annually. The range of services BTH offers includes concreting, concrete finishing and ready-made floors (all produced in-house). BTH has been a Wacker Neuson customer for more than eight years. "Wacker Neuson is an absolutely reliable partner for me, especially when it comes to service. Concrete sets and doesn't wait for us. Therefore, being able to rely on your partner and the machines is vital. Wolfgang Stengel, our Wacker Neuson sales executive, is always quickly on site if we need him or, if necessary, makes a replacement machine available. I really appreciate that", continues Franz Hehl.

As well as trowels, the concrete specialist's Wacker Neuson equipment fleet also includes concrete pumps, cut-off saws and internal vibrators for concrete.

Beside its extensive range of products, Wacker Neuson also offers reliable hire and service facilities. Nearly 70 location offices in Germany, and an extensive network of Wacker Neuson service points in Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands guarantee a fast and professional response to customers' requirements.
